Dressed to the Nines for An Afternoon Tea
The designers and curators of AtCozy joined forces with the Newton Festival of the Arts for an afternoon tea party– Hollywood style! The event took place on July 10th, and included a fashion show with styles available at AtCozy, a concert featuring a selection of songs from old Hollywood, silent auction, as well as tea and dessert.

Q: What inspired you to create and host this event?
A: This event was a great opportunity to gain valuable insights into who my key supporters. Hosting this event could emphasize and reinforce the importance of my business core mission of AtCozy.
Q: The pieces you selected for this event were absolutely stunning! How do you select the pieces you sell in your shop and show off on the runway?
A: I would like to make women feel fabulous in a formal dress or long formal evening gown from my shop collection. They can find formal evening gowns in a variety of styles and many colors. There are high-low dresses and long elegant evening dresses with sexy asymmetrical hemlines in solid colors and gorgeous prints. For a sexy evening dress that will make them stand out from the crowd, select a sequin or beaded evening dress.
Q: How did you come up with the idea of an Old Hollywood Tea Party?
A: You don’t have to travel to Southern California to experience the glitz and glamour of a Hollywood party. That’s why friends of mine OlgaLisovskaya, opera soprano and Inga Puzikov, jewelry designer, and Nina Bublik, hat creator and I came up with an idea to hold an Old Hollywood Tea Party that will leave guests feeling like super stars. The whole community – both artistic and business – came to support us! Thanks to Newton City Hall administration. This was truly a community coming together and creating something special.
